I have been in school and stuff. Steve was back on stage!! Very nice to see him hosting an event again. I wanted a really cool new ipod touch. I hear that 3.1 is doing bad things to iphone and ipod touch. itunes 9 is cool. the new nano seems awesome.

Snow Leopard!!!

Mac OS X Snow Leopard came out today. I got a family pack. Just installed it on my MacBook Air. Looks good.

school starts on august 24th. I got a quad core mac pro, the LED cinema display and a 2.66 GHz macbook pro.

i have been meaning to update this blog. i thought i had a lot of stuff to talk about. now that i'm typing, i really don't have much to say. i've been doing a lot of techy things lately. i've been going to this comedy club called "Tommy T's". I've been there quite a few times in the last few weeks. I saw Dat Phan, Willie Barcena, Tom Mcclain, Luenell, and last night, i saw D.L. Hughley. Luenell and DL were awesome!

3G S

I got my iPhone 3G S on friday. I got transformers: revenge of the fallen on xbox 360. it's better than the first game. excited for the movie.

I finally installed 3.0 on my iPhone 3G. I'll put 3.0 on my iPod touch later. I can say that I really like the improvements to the OS. I am noticing a speed increase especially when opening and closing applications. I also like the voice memos app. I think I'll use that quite a bit. The search features in the iPod and mail are also kleen. I like what Apple did to a few of the icons. The spotlight feature is pretty cool. Stay tuned for more thoughts about 3.0

WWDC 2009

I'm all happy that Snow Leopard is coming out in September and I can get it for $29 or less. I wanted a new iPhone and more information on the 3.0 software. I'm excited that Apple is letting us have 3.0 on June 17. I'm even more excited that the iPhone 3G S is coming out on June 19. I've been ripping through Apple's site trying to find out everything I can about these new things. Waiting for accurate details about the time of release for the 3G S. Once I watch the entire keynote, I'll be clued in. The $99 iPhone 3G is an awesome way to attract more people to iPhone.

Buffy season 3 is now available to buy on iTunes. Season 1 and 2 have been on iTunes for years. I wonder if they are going to add the entire series. Well, I have season 3 through 7 on dvd so I don't need to buy any Buffy episodes from 3-7 to watch on my iPod touch and iPhone. I'll just use handbrake to get my favorite episodes from the discs to iTunes. Surprised? Yea

not blogging as much as i should

my summer vacation started on 5/20. i went in for one day of jury duty on monday. i switched to a t-mobile blackberry curve 8900 last week. it's nice! waiting to see what happens at wwdc 2009.

i was so excited to get sarah michelle gellar's highly anticipated film 'Possession'. I ordered from best buy last night and requested an in store pickup. i got there and a girl said it wasnt in store yet. i called back hours later to see if it was ready to pick up. they said they dont know when they would be getting it in. crap.

but i did get NFSU from the app store yesterday. ABOUT TIME!!! it was announced in september 2008!

I'm back!

I bought X-Men Origins: Wolverine on 360 today. It is a great game. I also saw the movie. The movie was very cool. I recently bought Assassin's Creed from the app store and i rented the game on 360. So I have found some games to play.

The 2008 Engadget Awards surprised me a bit.

According to the readers, the iPhone 3G was the best gadget and the best smartphone on 2008. The iMac was desktop of the year. The notebook of the year was the unibody MacBook Pro. The 2G iPod touch won handheld of the year and portable media device of the year.

The editors say that the iPhone 3G won gadget of the year and best smartphone of the year. The best notebook of 2008 was the unibody MacBook Pro. The 2G iPod touch scored again with handheld of the year and portable media device of the year.

As I predicted, the BlackBerry Storm won worst gadget of the year in the editor's book.

That was wrong!

So I'm on my way to SCC for class right. I'm stopped at a red light and I see this good lookin' white girl. She must have been in her late 20s or early 30s. She had her son with her. He was carrying a grocery bag. She was walkin' two small dogs. I take my eyes off of her for 10 seconds and I look in the rearview mirror and I see her talking. I turn around and she is being loud. She is saying something about her kid. I look over and I see this black girl standing in front of her. Apparently this bitch said something to the white girl. Then the black girl splashes the white girl with water from a water bottle. The white girl was obviously caught off guard for a moment. A white guy on a bike saw this and tried to stop the black girl from driving away. Too late. The black girl had already sped away in her reddish purple toyota. The white girl pulled out her mobile and called someone. I assume it was the po-leese. I was so stunned. Then the light turned green and I had to go.

well, a new ipod shuffle was unveiled on wednesday. i got one yesterday. it's nice. still in school. that's all for now

just got a refresh on our at&t service. got a new router. had the previous one since 2005. now have at&t tv service. kicked dish network. some new nice service features as well. just installed illustrator on my macbook air. ready to do my assignments. my macbook pro and macbook air are now being charged.

after watching the Gran Torino trailer, i now see clint eastwood's character as batman in The Dark Knight. That raspy, angry voice is common in both movies. when i go see Gran Torino, at some point during the flim, i'm gonna think that i'm wacthing batman interrogate someone with his angry voice.

Macworld reflections

i am delighted that iLife '09 and iWork '09 were announced today. Nothing else at Macworld really got me excited. i would have liked to see new iphone/ipod touch stuff.

when apple announced two new earphones back in september, i really wanted to get one of them. new in-ear earphones with a volume control on the cable and the standard ipod earphones with the volume control on the cable. i got the in-ear version last monday because i was impatiently waiting for something with a volume control capsule. i was in the apple store yesterday and asked a guy if they had the other type. he went in the back and got them for me. i really like the standard earphones with that little addition to the cable.

it's the new year

oh man, last night was full of excitement. saw nice fireworks at embassy suites. then i hung out with alvin, steve, and a friend for a while. after that, headed down to the cosmopolitan where the ball was going to drop from. the crowd was crazy. fucking white people whining. white trash boys saying "dont push me" and white bitches sayin "dont touch me" and "dont touch my baby stroller". if they didnt like being herded like sheep, they should not have been there. i watched the ball drop from a safe location. in the end, it was a night to remember or wipe from my memory. i got pictures coming soon
